As a graphic designer based in the Bay Area of Northern California, I have had the good fortune to be influenced artistically and culturally by the rich environment of a socially and economically diverse community. I believe that it is the combination of conflicting attitudes that shapes a community into a cohesive and successful working unit. It, by no means, is perfect by definition, but a little compromise breeds success towards a common goal. Design is also about compromise - and collaboration, and knowing who your target market is and how well to communicate the right message.

Many things in a person's life will eventually need to be put on a list. There are so many lists to compile, right. Lately, due to Hollywood's influence, creating one's bucket list has become a popular activity. For now, I'll just make a list of things I like.
I'm working on a bucket list, but some of them might get done before the list gets published. Here's a teaser rundown: Sit behind home plate at an S.F. Giants baseball game; have my own art installation; write a song; play a musical instrument well; see the grand canyon with family; OMG. There's so much to do...
| Things I Like | Things Nice | Things A'ight | Things |
|---|---|---|---|
| family | design | pets | guinness |
| friends | photography | reading | cabernet |
| food | music | movies | summer |
| sports | television | partys | winter |
That's a great question. You're welcome. Apple. Toyota. Obama. Bush. Bill Maher. Jerry Lewis. Steven P. Jobs. Wells Fargo. The list simply goes on as to the entities that influence daily lives. For me, it's always been family. The biggest single influence there can be. Plain and simple.
